It's a quick post today but will be just as effective and important in your online opportunity seeking endeavors.

Today I will present to you a way to get your backlinks indexed fast.

How To Index Website

What is indexing? It is the act of the search engines finding a page, any page at all.

When it comes to you, it is all about the search engines finding YOUR webpages on your website. This also includes finding the backlinks you may plan to go out and get yourself to add votes for your site.

Why would you need indexing? Until you get indexed in a search engine, you WILL NOT BE LISTED AT ALL. You will be invisible, how can anyone find you and go to your site?

So you see why getting indexed is important. But now another problem you may have come across, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

If your site is brand new, the search engines won't think your much of an authority in the first place. You're just a loser who doesn't know what they are talking about - so the search engines will not visit you that often. In contrast, a site that has lots of backlinks and is ranked high OR has been in the search engines for a long time, will get it's pages indexed VERY fast. This means the search engines see that website has been around and just might know a thing or two about it's market.

To get indexed, you simply need to send the search engines bots from one site to yours. Either that or wait until they get to your site.

But remember, if you choose the latter scenario, you're wait may take AGES.

The search engines are a huge database of websites, I don't need to tell you any more, just figure out how long it would take to find a book about fire ants in a library about all the different types of ants in the world (there are many kinds).

There's a lot of information to go through, the search engines might NEVER find your site.

But IF you can get a site to link to you, the search bots will follow that link and find your site faster, leading to a faster index.

So enough blabbering, here are the list of sites to use. Place your url of the website you want index wherever it says URLHERE. Copy (ctrl + c) and Paste (ctrl + v) This list onto a notepad first (open up a notepad, found in Start -> Program -> Accessories , for Windows users)

Atfer you pasted this list, use the replace function (ctrl + h, or go to edit -> replace)

Then put your url in the first box and add URLHERE to the second and click replace, this will replace for you in a much faster way - as this list is HUGE.

After that, you can turn those links into clickable links by using a word processor or email, I've got a program to do it faster, will come soon.

Open up these links and your site will get indexed very soon.

Good Luck!

<span style="font-weight: href="http://backlinksresources.blogspot.com/2010/02/too-many-backlinks-is-there-such-thing.html">too many backlinks.

I ended off by saying 'no', but that also there is an effect that relies on the sources from which those backlinks come from.

I apologize as it may seem I haven't really answered the question until this post, as last post really went over the effects of acquiring a large sum of backlinks. In this post we get to the bottom of it all, as to why you should not worry about getting a large sum of backlinks. The other post kind of answered this question about having a large amount, but that was one side - so here's the other.

As you could tell had you been following along, near the end of the previous post I hinted that the question had many sides to it, as one answer could not be enough since there are many variables.

These include the quality of the backlinks, whether they are high pagerank or not, as well as being related to your market. Now another factor is whether you acquire these naturally, as in other websites linking to you on their own. You could also get backlinks in a faster way forcefully, and those methods are for another post at another time.

Having Too Many Backlinks | Part 2

Now to the main topic, can you get too many backlinks or not? I say no, because if you were to be punished by the search engines for having too much backlinks, just think how easy it would be to just knock out the competition instead of getting backlinks for yourself!

That was actually the case in the early years of search engines, but the developers get smarter and smarter everyday, fine tuning the engines to remove bugs and loopholes such as this one. Think about it, if having too many backlinks was a bad thing, could you not simply spam and get your competition a ton of backlinks, thus receive a drop from rankings in the search engines for them - and a raise in rankings for you?

But that doesn't happen nowadays, so having lots of backlinks is NOT a bad thing, to prevent competition from getting real dirty and exploiting the engines.

Another reason why getting too much backlink is not bad is to look at the life a viral trend. Sites like Facebook and Youtube get millions of hits day in, day out. Just think of all the linking people do to these sites because they are so popular, talk about automatic backlinking. It's not just that a popular site with a ton of links is not a bad thing, but the fact that once something goes viral - you CANNOT stop people from talking!!!

If you're getting links naturally and you're sitting on a viral trend, expect to gain a massive amount of backlink, and they won't stop coming in anytime soon. Do you think you deserve punishment because you're popular and people won't stop talking about you? Of course not, and that's how the search engines are developed as well. If your site is about the invention of fried ice cream, expect to get a lot of hits once people find out about it, and those hits translate into many backlinks. But the engines cannot look down on you, because other people are linking to you, you "aren't" getting them yoursef.

You have no control over what people do, for the most part, so if they want to link to you - why should you get in trouble for it? That's how natural linking works, people like something on your site and want to share it with others. A viral sensation is able to get more links and in a shorter amount of time, that's the difference.

But here's a secret if you want to do it forcefully, as getting natural backlink is a bit slow. You can sit on your chair and wait forever for people to notice you and even then who knows if they will think your content is good enough to share - so a faster way to get backlinks is forcefully (another day another post), but you should do so in a certain manner or suffer with the search engines.

Getting Many Backlinks Without Penalty
Imitate natural backlinking campaigns!!!

You don't have to be a viral sensation, but make your website appear as one if you plan to dump a load of links onto it. If your site is about a cool invention, go ahead and get those backlinks anyway you can - but make sure they come from social sites where people gossip and talk a lot, and make sure the rate at which you get them does NOT go over the rate of a naturally viral trend.

Viral trends take time to explode into popularity, no site is expected to ever get 10000 backlinks in a few days, got it?

That's it for the post. Here's what you need to take away?

Is there such thing as having too many backlinks?

NO, but you should still be aware of the effects on your sites rank:

1) It depends on the source - high or low pagerank
2) depends on the website - related or unrelated

and why having too much backlink isn't a bad thing?:

1) You can't stop other people from linking to you, for the most part (You can still pay them to, revealed later on)
2) As long as you imitate a natural linking process, you'll remain under the radar.

Too Many Backlinks | Is There Such A Thing

Welcome back to the site. We left off talking about bad backlinks, where it was explained what a bad backlink was, as well as what a good backlink was. The quality of backlinks related to whether they are good or bad, of course, but they also relate to how many you need to get a boost up the rankings in the search engines. Today's topic: Is there such thing as too many backlinks?

If you have been keeping up with the posts, by now you have learned what a good backlink is, and what a bad backlink is. You would also know how the difference relates to the amount you need to get the equal effect of going up in the rankings. You already know that you would need a heck of a lot more bad backlinks than good ones to move up in the search engines, but do you wonder if there is such a thing as having too many?

Sure, there are such things as spammy backlinks, but having a lot of backlinks is not necessarily a bad thing. It can be either good or bad, and that depends on who is linking to you.

You can get a mass of good related backlinks and go up in the rankings or go down with a ton of unrelated crappy backlinks. Remember the celebrity example? A celebrity already has an established authority, and better yet, authority in their own field of work. Either way, a recommendation from them to your product would send in a huge surge of demand and sales. Even better would be having a plug by a celebrity in your same field, reducing the questions from conumers as to whether you know your stuff, as you've been pre-qualified by a celebrity!

The same can be said for high pagerank sites - either way, related or not, you will be noticed in a good way and receive a boost in rankings as a reward; but a related website with high pagerank is the best you can get for a backlink.

The same is said for bad backlinks - the ones that are unrelated and low in pagerank. It is as if someone who knew next to nothing about your subject started to brag about you to everyone they knew - both of you would lose trust and authority in your market. How can a plumber know if you're the best pilot on earth, right?

Now, knowing these two things, it is easy to notice how getting a huge quantity of backlinks from either category would affect your site.

Effects of "Too Many" Backlinks

Getting a ton of good backlinks would make you seem even more knowledgeable in your market and you would be rewarded with a higher ranking. What this means is that other websites feel that you know your stuff, and you know it pretty well. The search engines see that you are the talk of the town, a ton of websites are giving you good ratings, so there must be some truth that you are an expert in your field - your rankings go up.

How about getting a ton of bad backlinks? How does it look to someone if a ton of plumbers, teachers, scientists, skateboarders, drug addicts, police officers all said that you were the best pilot on earth. On one hand, a ton of people are saying the same thing, there may be some truth to what they say. On the other hand - none of these people know A THING about flying!

That is why I wrote in the previous post that acquiring a massive quantity of bad backlinks could be risky - either you appear as a spammer or you get a boost in the rankings, albeit a very low boost.

There is also another factor to decide whether there is such thing as too many backlinks - the amount of time it takes for you to get your backlinks. If you're visiting this site, you should know that getting backlinks can either occur naturally or in a forced manner - the natural way is the slower way. There isn't much wrong about obtaining backlinks forcefully, but if you do gain a ton very fast in a short amount of time - the red flags pop up in the search engines.

It also depends on your market, whether it is general and most people know about, or obscure and something fan groupish. If you gain a ton of backlinks in the market of health, you would be seen as a spammer.

For example, everyone knows that in order to be an expert in health, you need a huge amount of experience, which MUST come with a large amount of time. You can't be the world's best expert on spinal surgery in a few days.

It doesn't matter if everyone is saying so, obviously they've all been paid by you. This is what the search engines sees. You have to be around for a while before getting a huge amount of backlinks in a short amount of time, unless your website turns out to be a viral sensation. No one is an expert with little experience. You simply cannot know everything on playing basketball if you've played twice, right? The search engines are that smart, they see through your trickery and you either get kicked out or rewarded - with a huge DROP in the rankings.

Is there such thing as getting too many backlinks? It depends on your motives - that is IF you choose to obtain them forcefully.

Too Many Backlinks Or Not?...It's Complicated

There will be a part two on what happens if you get many backlinks naturally, either good or bad, and what the effect is.

But in this post - if you get a ton of good backlinks - your rankings will rise, even if you're number 1 (which you won't be forever, this will also be explained later).

For the most part - there is no such thing as getting too many backlinks, but the consequence upon acquiring so many of them depends on the quality and sources from which they came from.

Bad Backlinks | How To Get Backlinks

We learned about some example of good backlinks, now let's skip down over to what a bad backlink would be.

To make it clear, there are such things as good and bad backlinks, but at the end of the day all backlinks are the same, let me tell you how.

Bad Backlinks, Good Backlinks | What's The Difference?

If you've been following along, you've learned about quality pagerank backlinks versus crappy ones. You would also now know how many of each you would need to get an equal boost in rankings on search engines for your market. You would need a few quality backlinks or a ton of crappy ones to get nearly the same effect. And it is that reason that backlinks aren't really bad or good, but we want to be efficient in our backlinking campaigns, so it's best to seek out quality over quantity right?

Quality backlinks are not just backlinks from a website with high pagerank, but those websites that are related to your market in some way. In fact, these are the BEST kind of backlinks to get - very high in pagerank and thematically related to your own website.

Sure you can get by in the search engines by getting a few high pagerank backlinks, but those from websites related to your market would kick that boost into overdrive.

Using the celebrity example again, it would be okay to get plugged by a celebrity for your invention, no matter what kind of job that celebrity has. Stephen Segal could recommend your invention for cooked ice cream to everyone he knew and they will still hurry to you to buy it. The same goes for high pagerank sites in the search engine.

But a greater effect would be a famous scientist promoting your invention, like say the inventor of ice cream themselves. This would get a lot more followers wanting to buy your product, because you've already been seen as trusted by the guy who knows his stuff on ice cream, so there are less questions to your authority. If Stephen Spielberg says you're a great movie maker, people will believe it because he's a pretty damn good one himself and everyone knows.

It's kind of like piggyback riding on someone else's authority, which is exactly what you do when you get a high pagerank site to link to you. Your website takes some of that authority through the links and the search engines notice this and boost your ranking in your market.

As we all know the point of a search engine is providing relevant results to a user's search, so you would be seen as one the guys people "MUST see" (in the perspective of a search engine) if they are looking for something in your area of expertise.

Bad Backlinks | What Are They?

Now since we've unintentionally described what a good backlink is, finding out what a bad backlink is quite easy. A backlink that comes from a site that in unrelated is not a good backlink. It can still pass if it's from a high pagerank website, but if that isn't the case, the search engines look at you with confusion and your site either stays in the same place or moves down the rankings. Picture it this way, you're trying to establish yourself as an expert on making ice cream, and some ordinary average joe plumber spreads the word that you know everything about ice cream. Who would believe him right? What plumber would know anything about ice cream themselves, besides how to make it disappear?

If your links come from irrelevant websites, the search engines view it as spam, as if you are forcing websites to link to you in an illegal manner, such as blog comment spam.

Everyone knows that plumber knows nothing about ice cream, yet he mentions you as the expert on this topic - he must be getting paid, and there goes your first impression and trust from the people (or in this case, the search engines).

The absolute worst kind of backlinks are those that are unrelated to your market and come from low pagerank websites. There is no connection and neither website (yours and theirs) are already known to be knowledgeable source in your market.

The pagerank and authority from these links come in a very low quantity, and you'd need massive amounts to scrape your way up the rankings. Even then you have to be lucky to avoid getting kicked out for appearing dishonest and spammy in the search engines.

I did say in the beginning there is no actual good or bad backlink though, but if you want to spend a huge amount of time collecting unrelated and crappy links versus a few related quality links, than that is your business. In the meantime, keep in mind that the flow of visitors will not wait for you to appear in the rankings and will head straight to the competition.

How To Get Backlinks | Get HIGH PageRank Votes

DOWNLOAD YOU FREE HIGH PR BACKLINK PACKAGE NOW.

Welcome back to the site, today we dive in a little bit on the quality of backlinks.

If you've read my previous post, How To Get Backlinks, you'd understand that the higher the quality of a link would result in you putting in less work to acquire a lower amount and still be able to rank really well for your market.

Get High PageRank Backlinks

One way of acquiring high quality backlinks, as stated from my previous posts, would be to get a link from a webpage with high pagerank.

Remember, I did say pagerank was, for the most part, a useless measurement for you, UNLESS that rank is a very high number, for me that would be 6+.

Despite the random EVERYDAY change in pagerank, a high pagerank webpage would be screaming high quality in order to receive such a link.

And imagine how you would benefit from getting linked from that webpage.

The deal is, you can actually pass ranking through links and it is actually quite simple with a little help from math.

A website has a pagerank of 8, this means it is very high in quality (highest in 10), whatever market that page is in, it is probably ranking quite well and would be tough to compete against. That webpage is the AUTHORITY of its market, providing that it IS in a market or just a webpage for humor, funny jokes and pictures and what not. (Still profitable market though)

A PR 8 website would mean to you that every link it hands out would have some of that ranking passed down, 8 links would hand out 1 PR per link; 16 links makes 1/2 PR per link and so on.
If you're confused still, just understand that if you got a link from this site, your own pagerank would jump up pretty high, around a PR 4 or 5 from 0.

Besides passing pagerank, remember what I concluded about a site with high pagerank: it is an AUTHORITY FIGURE.

Picture this for a second; you're a homeless guy coming up with an invention to cook ice cream without melting it. You know in your heart you'll be stinking rich if you could get a company to be interested, but then again you're homeless so you're out of luck.

All of a sudden, a famous celebrity (pick your own) likes your invention and endorses it at a few celebrity events. What happens next is similar to the effect on your own website if you got a link from a high pagerank site. You wouldn't be filthy rich, but all of a sudden the search engines would stop, turn around and see you as a person who just might be an expert (an AUTHORITY FIGURE) in their market, and boost your rankings because of it.

That's basically the nitty gritty about high pagerank backlinks. The more you get, the more of an expert you seem, the higher you rank - all because a search engine's mission is to provide the best and most relevant results to users; so they would be crazy not to rank an expert very high in his own market if he could provide the answers people are looking for.

The funny part - you don't have to have the answers (although it is recommended you do so, no one likes to search for a cure for pimples and find a page on viagra instead, if you catch my drift).

Great, now you know all about getting quality backlinks or enough to know that you need high PR links to "become" an "expert" faster and rank higher and faster as well.

But where do you find such links?

Of course you could get the Google toolbar and search the endless universe of webpages and extract the best of the best, or you can find someone to do that for you. Either way it doesn't hurt to know what type of pages will have high PR. (AUTHORITY FIGURES/EXPERTS)

With that little hint, just think what an authority means. Not just someone who knows everything about dealing cards, but it could also be a website like FaceBook. (It's an authority on social networking) Youtube is one in the entertainment market, and so on.

Find the cream of the crop, figure out how to get a link from them and you'll be a step closer to your potential customers.

Of course this site wouldn't be anything without giving you a head start on your campaign, and you're in a for a treat.

Ever heard of a backlinking service? People will find links for you, for a small price of course (doesn't hurt to invest in something if you can make your money back, or make an INSANE profit at a small expense)

So I bring to you a known service, called Angelas links. You might know of it. For 5 simple dollars you get around 30 links a month, all high pagerank and no competition - you even get a how-to to tell you how to get that link.

What if I could bring that to you for an even smaller fee? Something along the lines of...FREE?

Try . Free high pagerank backlinks.

How To Get Backlinks | Welcome

Welcome to Backlink Resources, where you will learn how to get backlinks.
Whether you're a webmaster, a company worker or a marketer, you should know that getting your site on the top of the listings of the search engines is a huge priority if you intend to get a huge and almost automatic flowing stream of potential customers to your site.

You might already know that backlinks are like votes to whether your site should be sitting on that top 10 list for each search engine, and the more votes you get, the more you appear to be the real deal and a definite go-to website for people searching in your market.

But for the sake of anyone else new to websites and search engine rankings and all that stuff, today's post we will kick off this site with an explanation on backlinks.

What are Backlinks?

What is a website? A place where you store information of ANY kind - books, video, pieces of writing, images and so on.

Anyone can make a website; this one was created on a free platform tool that requires little to no knowledge of coding or programming at all.

But after you make a website, how do you get people to it? How can you run a successful business online with a site if it gets 0 customers?

You can submit it to your friends, but they might get annoyed if you have a lot of websites.

Another better way would be ranking in a search engine, like Google and Yahoo.

When people use the internet to find something, they use these tools to do so. The search engines store massive amounts of information on many many websites in their goal to provide the user with the information they are looking for.

If you're searching for information on curing bee stings, chances are the search engines will find a website with that information and bring it to you.

The "best" websites with the "best" quality information are shown to you first, the less relevant the website, the lower the chance of you finding it.

Oh but search engines are not 100% perfect, there are loopholes and ways to get to the top for a site that has NOTHING to do with bees at all.

Search "failure" and I believe you will be in a surprise.

Sometimes the best sites with just what you are looking for at far away from your eyes, and that's because people easily manipulate these loopholes to find you first, and make some money at the same time.

This is how a business runs - not by using loopholes, but providing relevant information in hopes of attracting the right kind of customers that MAY be interested in their PRODUCTS.

But even the best company with the best website will not get even a peek out of anyone if they cannot rank high on the list in the search engines. That list is the order in which a site is displayed, according to relevancy of what you search for.

But today we will focus on one way to get your site in the search engine's database and then how to get it up on the list for people to see and bring you potential customers.

That way is backlinks. These are simply the (occasionally blue) links you click that lead you to another website or open a new window.

Is It Important To Get Backlinks?

After creating a quality website, I believe getting backlinks to it is the most important task that you should attend to. That is, if you intend to get views from a search engine only - of course this is not the only way to attract customers, BUT this is what the site is all about. (No worries, I have plans to reveal another world of "traffic" beyond search engines)

Backlinks are simply votes, telling the search engine that someone in the world believes your website is important and should be included whenever someone searches for a certain word.

Whatever that word is will be up to you, and the backlinks must be of the same kind.

You wouldn't vote for a Republican president if you were a Democrat, would you? The same thing has to be done for backlinks - the more relevant they are to your site - the better chances of you appearing as an authority in your market, and the go-to website to find the answers to people's questions (the answers coming in a form of a product that you sell...)

It's not all about getting the most votes, but getting the most QUALITY votes.

Not all backlinks are the same. Some are very low quality, and you have to get thousands of them to get a decent chance at getting views.

Others are very high in quality, and these you get very few but will receive a huge boost in popularity.

One way to tell the quality of a backlink is PageRank - how important a certain page of any website is in according to the information it provides.

PageRank is really an uncertain measure, as no one really knows what the PageRank of a site is, besides the search engine companies.

But they do provide a tool to tell you, although that tool will tell you the PageRank of a website at an older time - this means you could think you're website has a PageRank, but it lost that rank days, weeks or even months ago.

The rank always goes up and down as the companies add changes and fixes to the search engines, and one way to notice is the ranking of your site. One day you can be #1, the next you'll be #20.

That is enough for today, this topic is very deep as you can see, but I'll try to skim and give you the important parts to be on your way. Soon we'll provide you with tools, sources and methods to get backlinks for yourself and hopefully get your site ranking high for whatever your market is, and make some money online!
